How-to
Donations and Author Applications
Aug 6th
Firstly, I’ve decided to start accepting author applications. If you like writing articles or guides, have a bit of spare time and are fluent in the English language, hit me up with an email using the Contact page. I’ll be only accepting one author, because that’s all I’ll be needing.
If you are accepted, you will be rewarded according to the amount of time and dedication you give to this blog. Rewards will vary; mainly premium accounts (RapidShare, Hotfile, Megaupload etc.).
I’ve also started accepting donations via the Donate page above. According to the amount you donate to the site, you will get a nice gift, the least being a private tracker invite. If you cannot pay via AlertPay, email me using the Contact page so we can figure something out.
All donations will be used to pay for PC Demon’s hosting and domain costs. The reason why I’ve decided to accept donations is because I’m planning to move PC Demon to an offshore VPS. This means faster load times and more “free” content.
TBDev: Installation and Configuration For Newbies
Jun 8th
These days, more and more torrent trackers are popping up all over the ‘net. Almost all of these trackers are based on a source – because coding a torrent tracker from scratch is a time consuming process. Of course, not all these trackers use the same source code. Some of them are based on the advanced Gazelle codebase, while many others rely on the easy-to-customize TS Source. While each of these source codes has it’s own strengths and weaknesses, I think that TBDev is the pick of the litter.
The table below gives you a quick comparison between the three most-used source codes out there.

Sorry for the delay – I’ve been pretty busy lately and haven’t really had the chance to login and update PC Demon. For the time being, though, I’m back.
Missed those classic games you played back in the 90s? Well then, you’re going to love this, because using the guide below, you’ll be able to enjoy awesome games like Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Prince of Persia and Quake. Doesn’t that make you feel kind of nostalgic?
Backup iPhone Apps to Your Computer
Feb 18th
There are several different ways to backup the applications already saved on your iPhone/iPod, including using iTunes, but the method written here may be the easiest and most straightforward one out there. If you were wondering, this method does not involve any Cydia apps such as AptBackup. Best part is – you don’t need a jailbroken iPhone!
Install AppSync on Your iPhone/iPod
Feb 15th
AppSync is an awesome little tool that patches the MobileInstallation file on your iPhone. Patching this file allows you to install .ipa files manually, without downloading them from iTunes. To install this tool, you’ll need a jailbroken iPhone with firmware 3.0 or higher. If you want to jailbreak your iPhone, but don’t know how to, try following this tutorial.
How to Setup Your Own Forum
Feb 14th
I’ve always wanted to show PC Demon readers how easy it is to get a forum up and running, and, obviously, the day has finally come. If you’ve read the previous announcement I posted, you might have noticed that I will be starting the PC Demon forum. So I decided to kill two birds with one stone: show my readers how to setup a forum and, simultaneously, setup my own forum.
I will be working on my forum while writing this article, so you’ll be able to follow along and, hopefully, start a forum similar to, or even better than, mine.
