Last time, I wrote a brief review about the awesome music service, GrooveShark. It is, as I noted earlier, one of if not the best music streaming service on the Internet. This time, it’s not a review, but more of a tutorial, and an easy one at that.

Today I’m going to show you how to download any song from GrooveShark. Before you can download your songs, you’re going to have to grab this handy FireFox plugin.

After downloading the add-on and restarting your browser, you can start following the guide below.

How to Save GrooveShark Songs to Your Computer

First step consists of heading over to GrooveShark.

Search for the song you want to download, and make sure to select it from the search results.

Now comes the fun part – while the song is playing, click on the blue circle-shaped icon at the top-left of your browser window, near the address bar.

A drop-down box should appear and it should have an option to record the stream. Click on it.

After it’s done downloading, click on “Open File” to play your newly saved song.
